The Biblical Way

The Proverb writer tells us that there is a way that seems right to mankind, but the end result is death (Proverbs 14:11; 16:25). The question then becomes: Which way is right? The Christ tells us in John 14:6 that He is "the way, the truth, and the life." He is the right way - the way that leads to life. With that in mind, the question becomes: What has He told us to do? What is the biblical way?
ANNOUNCEMENT(S):
Once again, I'm very sorry if you happen to visit The Biblical Way. After my former apology, I threw myself deeper into my studies but failed to write and share my discoveries. My goal is to fix this and write some kind of article at least once a week. (I'm currently in the process of writing one).
In regards to the new section discussing scripture and its application, I'm doing some study on Greek and Roman culture to more fully discuss a passage from 1 Corinthians.
I also intend to start a section where we will look at "The Big Picture." This will encompass two things: the Biblical storyline of salvation and overviews of individual books. Given the large nature of this task, it won't be updated as often--keep an eye out for it though. Let me know if you want e-mail updates.
To borrow the words of a friend: please hold me accountable. Shoot me an e-mail if I'm not posting as I should.
With that, please bear with me as work toward these goals. I'm far from perfect. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, concerns, or just need to talk, feel free to e-mail at any time.
This site's purpose is to search out the biblical way and to discuss various apsects of the Bible and its teaching. Some future themes include:
The list is evergrowing, as there is so much that God has shared with us.
Do you have any questions about the Bible or about God? Do you have any particular qualms or worries? The Bible has an answer and we can find it together. Disagree with something I say? We can search out those answers! Contact me and I'll reply as soon as I possibly can.
If you prefer not to use the form to message me, you can send me an e-mail directly at coltin@thebiblicalway.com. I'll receive it either way. I look forward to any questions or comments you have. Thanks!
